Teslas are the most made in America cars, so even without recent politics, there are some reasons for moderates or right wing people to support their EVs specifically. But away from blue cities, you won’t find Tesla stores or even chargers as easily. That’s probably a barrier to adoption. Not to mention the wildly impractical design choices. Yes they have amazing range and great driver assistance features but I can’t see a rural driver putting up with no physical buttons or no CarPlay or using a yoke steering wheel.
Is there any evidence to an actual cultural shift in every day folks?
Which Americans are "every day folks" and what denotes an "actual" cultural shift?
I’m up for anything.
