About COSCUP
COSCUP is an annual conference organized by the Taiwanese open-source community since 2006. COSCUP aims to provide a platform to connect Open Source coders, users, and promoters while promoting FLOSS within the annual conference. The conference is free to attend and all the staff are volunteers.
We had more than 3000 attendees last year, and there will be more this year. It is the biggest open-source gathering in Taiwan, and the attendees are mostly developers, some power users, and FLOSS promoters and lovers. Here is an album of our previous events:

Q2: How is this different from the regular CfP?
The regular CfP (expected to start on April 5) is a community-wide call for proposals across multiple tracks. The Early Bird Program allows speakers to receive acceptance notifications earlier.
Q3: Can Taiwan speakers apply?
Yes.
Q4: Which track will accept the Early Bird Program proposals?
We will assign the proposals to the most suitable track based on their topic.
Q5: Will I receive a response by April 15?
We will notify you via email whether the proposal is accepted during this stage.
Q6: What if I miss the Early Bird deadline?
You can still submit your proposal during the regular CfP phase.
Q7: If my proposal is rejected for Early Bird, can I submit it again?
Yes. We will retain the unaccepted proposals for the regular CfP phase. You may make revisions and submit it again.
