It's not inconsistent with our historical understanding of how immunity evolves, but it's extremely complex. I have zero confidence RFK Jr has the knowledge and experience to run a program like this (which I don't think would even be part of HHS) in a way that would have a better outcome than following existing epidemiology.
Especially because viruses mutate. The immunity can be short lived and at the same time there is a much bigger risk of getting a virus dangerous to humans.
