According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, John Ternus will likely be the next Apple CEO. Some people thought that Jeff Williams was considered for the role. But the small age gap between him and Cook didn't really make him a viable option.
He's 62 and has been at apple since 1998, 2004 on effectively running ops.
