A bit more technical but the absolute best book on quantum computing is "Quantum Computation and Quantum Information" by Nielsen and Chuang. It’s also a pretty good introduction on quantum mechanics in general.
You might want to take a look at “Quantum Computing Since Democritus” by Scott Aaronson. I believe it’s based on the course he taught at the University of Waterloo.

I'd also recommend studying quantum mechanics more generally, and a great intro there is Brian Cox's The Quantum Universe.
