I've been thinking about what happens after the singularity. Not during the race to build powerful AI, but once the capability is widely available. Specifically, what happens to every invested dollar, once everybody asks claude to "use all my resources and make me rich". How will an economy full of competing intelligent agents work.
Agent run companies can grow much larger in terms of number of products, R&D, output, since they reap the benefits of scale and insider know how, but fewer of the downsides like innovators dillema. Agents will try create a merger if they believe competition is too strong.
