Very cool. I really need to get back into recording to my cassettes. It was a lot of fun just as a way to explore music and then burn what I liked into a fun format. This project has not gotten a lot of love from me since some life changes but this is what I was using to generate printable J-Cards from my navidrome instance.
Cool. Just checked for the tape I have in a drawer within arms reach: a BASF Chrome II from sometime between 1997 and 2000. There's a techno live set from the early aughts on it, that's the only thing I know about it lol
I got really into this design aesthetic a while ago. Once you recognize it, you see it more and more. Some examples/sources:
- amazing animation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9DfSCk-6Ko
- IG account of VHS cassettes: https://www.instagram.com/blanktapebingo/
- Product launch: https://www.lux.camera/meet-orion/
- product page I made using the style: https://criticalmoments.io
That animation is a masterpiece, just like the the original designs themselves! Thank you for sharing.
Amazing

If anyone is interested it would be a good place to point your agent to.
TDK SA C-90 were my favorites - excellent sound quality and durability, not too expensive.
